Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to all business processes in FK BODØ/GLIMT, hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller.

The policy provides information about the processing of personal data carried out by the Data Controller, and determines the purpose and means of such processing, as well as data processing performed on behalf of our customers based on their instructions.

Processing of personal data is necessary for us to fulfill our contractual obligations and serve you as a customer. Personal data may also be used for the following purposes: sales, customer service communication, marketing, information, and accounting.

For marketing via email/SMS, we always obtain explicit consent in advance.

By providing us with your personal information, you accept the practices and terms described in this privacy policy.

If you have objections regarding our handling of personal data, you may file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Data Controller

Information collected
Information may be registered and stored when you sign up on shop.glimt.no, when you contact sales or support via email, chat, or when you use our services.

Where we store and share information

Our e-commerce platform is provided by Mystore.no AS, and data is stored in their cloud services hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ireland.

Subprocessors

The Data Controller also uses services provided by third parties. Below is an overview of subprocessors where information may be stored:

  • Vipps: If you pay with Vipps in the online or physical store, your phone number will be sent to Vipps for identification.

  • Klarna: If you pay with Klarna, personal data such as email, name, address, and personal ID number will be shared with Klarna for credit purposes.

  • Google Workspace (Gsuite): Used for handling emails and documents (Google Drive). Data such as correspondence and documents may be stored here.

  • Zendesk: Used for email and chat support. All correspondence is stored in Zendesk.

  • Mailmojo: Used for newsletters and email marketing. Name and email may be shared with Mailmojo.

  • Google Analytics: Used for traffic analysis. IP addresses and visitor patterns are stored.

  • Tripletex AS: Our accounting system. Stores necessary data such as name, address, orders, and invoices.

  • Mystore Datakasse: Our point-of-sale system for the physical store. Order-related information is stored here.

  • Adyen: Used for Visa/Mastercard payments in the physical store. Card data is sent to Adyen for processing.

  • Logistra: Our EDI solution provider. Name, phone number, and address are shared for shipping labels.

  • Bring: Used for parcel delivery. Name, phone number, and address are shared.

  • Postnord: Used for parcel delivery. Name, phone number, and address are shared.

  • Crall.io: Used for chat, abandoned cart reminders, birthday messages, product recommendations, and transactional emails. Data such as name, email, address, and order details may be stored for up to one year.

Communication via email and SMS

As a customer, you may receive emails or SMS related to your account and orders, such as order confirmations, tracking numbers, password resets, and account information. This is considered legitimate interest and does not require separate consent.

We also use email for marketing and newsletters, provided that you have actively opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the emails.

Access and correction

You have the right to access the personal data registered about you. Access can be requested by sending an inquiry to privacy@gdpr.no. If the information is incorrect or incomplete, you may request correction in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act.

Storage and deletion

Data that is no longer necessary for its intended purpose will be deleted from our systems.

Use of cookies

A cookie is a small text file stored on your computer.

We use cookies to remember your login, encrypted passwords, improve user experience, and as part of our marketing efforts.

When visiting our services, both temporary and permanent cookies are stored. Temporary cookies are often deleted when you close your browser, while permanent cookies may remain for up to one year.
